WOW!   If you were not on this trip, you missed a good one!

Even though we received no new snow the whole week, most people said the weather was Perfect.  The high temperature the first few days were in the 30's, the next two in the 40's, and the last two hit 50's, with mostly sunny blue skies all week.

The snow cover was great. No rocks getting in the way. They had a settled base of 58" and had received 216" already for the season.

The Vail Corporation had purchased Park City and combined it with the Canyons Resort and connected the two with a high speed gondola, making the two largest resorts in Utah now the Largest ski resort in the USA. They spent $50 Million in upgrades this year with new lodges, chair lifts and gondola. The territory was huge!

The group met at a variety of different lodges for lunch daily at Park City, The Canyons, and even Deer Valley (which annually receives the number one resort rating for their food.)

We had organized group dinners at a local Bar/Restaurant, an Italian Restaurant, and a local Brewery. Each of these was in the Old Historic Downtown Park City which was walking distance from our condo. We met for Après Ski drinks at several local bars at the bases, including one which is the 2nd most popular Après Ski bar in the nation, the No Name Bar.

At Super Bowl Sunday we watched Denver prevail in several of our roving Condo parties.

On Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, we all wore beads and many stayed uptown to party after our Italian dinner.

On the night before we left, we had a big Clean Out The Refrigerator Party in one of our condos with a large assortment of chili, spaghetti, beef stew, and other homemade dishes and specialties. We had to drink the beer and wine since you can't take it with you.

Several of our travelers took side trips. Some went shopping in town, others drove to Salt Lake City for dinner, shopping at the Center City Mall, seeing a movie, or sightseeing at Temple Square.

Our flight schedule was great too. We flew out of Dayton early at 6:30 am, with only a 45 minute layover in Denver, our condos were ready by noon, and we had the rest of the day to enjoy the town. That night, we all had dinner together in a close, in town, local bar and grill. Our flight home left at a good time also, 2:40 pm, 45 minutes in Denver, and home at 9:10 pm. Flying Southwest of course "Two Bags Fly Free."  We even had turkey sandwich box lunches on the 40 minute bus ride back to the airport.

With all this fun, dinners, skiing, and partying, it was a great trip!
